No, these aren't shiny presents waiting to be opened. But, they are shiny "presents" waiting to be lit on fire and paint the sky with color. With the Fourth of July just around the corner, fireworks stands have been popping up just outside the Lawrence city limits. They sell items like these in quantities enough to satisfy any pyromaniac's obsession.
One such (assumed) pyromaniac was enthralled with the fireworks when he said to me "Imagine the possibilities" (hence today's title) referencing what would happen if all of the fireworks in the tent were suddenly lit. Fortunately while I was there, that didn't happen. But, I thought I would snap this picture and get everyone excited for the upcoming holiday.
